What We Believe
About God…
He is One God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator and is
Sovereign.
About
Christ... He is the Son of God, conceived by the Holy
Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, wholly God and wholly man, lived a
sinless life and offered himself as a sacrifice for the sin of the
world, rose from the dead, ascended to heaven and will return to
reign as King of Kings.
About the
Holy Spirit… He lives in the believer, provides power for
living, for understanding spiritual truth and gives guidance. We
believe that the spiritual gifts are relevant for today and are
demonstrated by the fruit of the Spirit in the believer.
About the
Bible… It is God’s Word to all people. It is the supreme
source of all truth.
About
Humanity… God created both male and female in His own
image with the capacity to know Him.
About
Salvation... It is a free gift from God. It can’t be
earned. It comes through faith in trusting in Christ’s forgiveness,
life, death, resurrection and ascension to the Father.
The Church…
Is all who acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. The local
church is the body of believers who gather regularly for worship,
teaching of the Word, fellowship, baptism and communion.
